the best thing in do in life is to just wait.

comes with pros and cons in human eyes, but i feel like the Lord never looks down upon those who wait.

in fact, when we wait, we allow time and space and room for Him to just move gracefully.

the unforced rhythms of grace, i believe is what eugene peterson refers to it as.

sometimes, while waiting, people will wonder what you're doing.

"if i had your talent, i wouldn't just be sitting around."

"i wonder what she's doing. nothing, it looks like."

and the list can go on and on, really. but in reality, we are waiting.

strength is given to those who wait.

i wrote a song once and it said, "stop running. stop striving. you might get hurt."

and that is the truth; when we strive and run on our own strength, it will run out.

when our hands get in the way of the sovereignty of God, there really is no knowing what will happen.

teach me just to wait. it's a lesson that i have not yet learned yet. i know the steps, but i don't adhere to them.
